I Cross My Heart

Time for What's YOUR Song? link up at Goodnight Moon

Today I picked another oldie, and not just because I don't really know any current music! This is in honor of our anniversary yesterday - it was the song we danced to at our wedding.  Oddly, neither of us listened to country music then.  Weird.

  1. Okay...seriously, I have to tell you about this song. I had a boyfriend that sang this to me on stage one time....I was MORTIFIED! I wanted to hide under the table. It was so sweet that he sang it to me infront of an ENTIRE room full of strangers, but I was so embarrassed because his voice was HORRIBLE. Okay, I know that sounds so mean of me, because I took alot of courage for him to get up on stage and sing it...BUT....he wasn't the best boyfriend, so I'm allowed to say that.

So this song brings me right back to my youth, wanting to hide under the table. LOL!

Thanks for linking up again this week!

  2. My dad sang this song a few years ago at a friend of mine's wedding. It is a beautiful song and so fitting for your anniversary. Happy Anniversary!

  3. I love this song. It reminds me of Charleston and just everything good about being southern.

I love your comments and I read them all. I'm not very good at replying to them though. It's one of my many downfalls. I hope you'll leave some anyway!
