A new week is upon us and before I get sucked back into the school thing again I thought I better let everyone know I'm still alive! {waves} This last week was good. Well, mostly good. Zach settled into his schedule, I settled into mine, and he even decided wearing a uniform to school was ok. Some days he didn't even change out of it when he got home - just untucked his shirt! Tuesday was my first lab for Oceanography. Well, let me say that again - this is my first lab ever . Yep, that's right - I only had to take one year of science in high school (thanks CA for the great education!) and I took general science (no lab required). I need to find new lab partners though. Those boys ignored me. I don't know if it was because I was old or a girl (or both!!). I have smart ideas - just listen to me fools! Wednesday I knew I was only going to get my running in if I got up at 5. Which I did. And I ran five 2 minute intervals (5K101 Week 1), without wimping out on a single...

Before I share the few, sad pictures I took this week I wanted to share this story... Today after class I had an advisement appointment.  It went well, I planned out my schedule for fall, and got a definite when I should take the PRAXIS I. It was all good and I walked away with a plan - which I need.  After that I went to Zach's school to help with the book fair.  I love the book fair - I spend way too much money - but I like helping at the school.  Being around the kids really gives me a feel for what it will probably be like when I'm a teacher.  Today was crazy completely insane. First there was an "Intruder Alert Drill".  I've never even heard of these - anyone else?  Hmm so it goes like this - "There's an intruder" so the kids scrunch down into the corners (or behind book shelves) in case someone comes in with a gun and starts shooting.  OMG really?  Really?  I can't even think about that right now.  I have way too much to s...

Ok, well, more like a monthly wrap up!  With all the sickness flinging around, and mid-terms, I have a lot of pictures I've never posted.  So, grab something to drink (and eat!) it's gonna be big one folks!! Science Night (Bubbleology Part 2) Here are some pictures from my camera (not my phone!) from science night.  Dang, those only took me like a month and half to download!! Next up a Cub Scout Project.  My boys made a diorama from scraps of stuff we had laying around the house.  Zach picked a playground to make.  He did a good job with a little bit of help - mamma made the slide! It's time for my Friday Wrap Up I don't have a ton of pictures  (I'm saving a lot of them for Tuesday!) Today I finished my second week of school I've still not gone a full week because of the weather but I have had time to take a quiz in math that's right, I only missed two!  I rock!  I have decided that even though I don't like math  and I really like to read I like math better than English numbers aren't subjective  like writing a paper is  urg!! Since my check engine light is still on I drove the truck to school today Why is this such a big deal? Do you see the size of this thing?  ok it's a little hard to tell - I'll get a better picture it's a 2500 crew cab this is me by my car - which I usually drive a little Malibu Maxx so the truck is pretty much a monster compared to this! Because I had some pictures left from the week I figured I'd wrap it all up today. First I did buy a domain name my blog will now be here .  It's still my blog and supposedly Blogger will redirect.  Hopefully that works out! I did finish my first (almost) full week of school.  Surprisingly, even though it's a very early class, I am enjoying my Sociology 101 class.  Maybe because I'm a people watcher?  Except for the Professors chicken scratch it's not so bad!  Not surprisingly, Math is my nemesis!
