My Super Sensitive Little Man
Most of you already know my little man - he's my miracle - the child I was never supposed to be able to have. Ha Doctor's you were WRONG!! Anyway, my little man is uber-hyper sensitive. Maybe because he's been raised mostly by mom (thanks AF!), maybe because he's half uber-hyper sensitive me. Who knows, but he is and I love him for it. A couple times this year little man has gotten in the car after school and shared how 'terrible' his day was. Why honey? Answer One - "Did you know that people sold other people as slaves? They just split those families up - took kids away from their moms. How could people do that to each other? Why would they think that's even a good idea?" Answer Two - "Today we learned about the Trail of Tears. It made me cry. I don't understand how people can treat other people so bad." I have a love/hate relationship with these conversations.
