A Cherokee Winter House - Caddick Style!

On September 30th Zach's first school project was due, his Native American Project. He chose the Cherokee Tribe and spent hours searching for information to present. Everything had to be written in cursive (he hates cursive!), so this took a little longer than I would have hoped - but he finally finished the writing portion, then it was time to make the display item. He wanted to make a Cherokee Winter House. I'm good with that, but it's almost impossible to find a decent picture of one, so we did the best we could with what we could find!

Some homemade (read: non stinky!) playdough, some hot glue, and popcicle sticks and we were finished!





Thanks to my wonderful husband, who is far more crafty and patient than I, it turned out pretty good. Still waiting on the grade, but I'm sure Zach did great!




I had to share the second one - I love how Perry is peeking over the edge of the table!

    Looks AWESOME!!! I have always loved making things with Bry. Her mission project was by far my favorite :) Good job Caddick fam!!!

I so look forward to Tuesday's now!  Which is weird, because other than this I got nothing on Tuesday - so thanks Jessica for making my life not so lame!  So, what crap is on my phone this week?  hmmmm My little elfish niece  and her older brother So these next two are going to need a back story.  My phone is lame - but I was bored and figured out I could do kind of cool stuff in picture mode.  Here are two shining examples of how non creative I am! Why is my son 'talking' about hubster? IDK 'kay? I'm pretty sure I could  figure out some more creative way to use this....maybe Yes, it is my shoe.  And it's cool that I  can add a polaroid frame to pictures but lame that I have to try and write with just my finger.  And yes, those are pink crocs .  Don't judge! Hmmm  Not that many selections this week.  I wanted to snap a couple pics at the post office but I haven't figured out how to be quick  sneaky enough to manage that yet.  When I do though..... It's Tuesday!!

And now, without further ado - my offerings for the week... The first guy probably looks familiar - I have been helping decorate the 4th grade hall for Winter Wonderland the tree and birds are new - great little artists and crafty teachers I'm just the manual labor Sunday, we were in the Christmas Parade here in town.
