I've been lame about blogging lately. At least on this blog - my reading blog is going crazy. But that's because I've been doing a ton of reading since I'm out of school and Zach still has 13 days left. I start my summer class on the 30th, but it's a night class, two times a week. Hopefully I'll still have time to read because once I start the fall semester that probably isn't going to happen. Last week I was a monitor for the PASS test. It's the SC annual test. Anyone who's known me for any length of time knows that I'm not a fan of end of year testing. I know anyone can pass a test and not know crap - just like someone who knows a lot may not be able to test because of anxiety or whatever. Everyone keeps saying these tests are important because how well the kids do equals how much money the state gets from the federal government. I don't know how much funding it equals to, but I'm thinking it couldn't be anywhere near the cost t...

Time to dump my phone pictures. I know, I had a ton last week - but don't be scared - Alicia didn't send me any this week, so you just get the few lame pictures of randomness that I took. Here is me - sporting my new glasses I also should have taken one sporting my new 'do but I didn't - and it's never looked that good since! My niece Alex bought these to celebrate her "I'm glad I'm not a Mother"'s Day Finally, a cool case for my Kobo! "Can I buy this?" Dear Mom, It's been four years now since I last called you and wished you a Happy Mother's Day. Four years since I sent you flowers (tulips and iris' of course!). I still miss you terribly. I thought it would get easier as time went by, but it doesn't because so many amazing things happen and I just think "Dang - Mom would love this or get a kick out of that." Or whatever the situation calls for. So, I thought I'd let you know what happened this year. The things that would have tickled you pink and the things that would have made you madder than a wet hen. After looking at my post yesterday, I realized there may be some confusion as to how many nieces and nephews I really have. I'm just going to say this - a lot. But some of them are great nieces and nephews that I just call my nieces and nephews because it's easier. So, I'm going to give you a breakdown. I have two sisters - Cindy and Cathy. Cindy had four kids - Amanda Andrew Alexandria (Alex) Alicia Nena (let me clarify - Nena is Andrews ex - but she is awesome and I still count her as a niece and always will) This whole group is what I call my 1st group. They are all in their 20's. That's 4 nieces and 1 nephew so far. Amanda has one son - Desmond (Desi) Andrew has one daughter - Kylie Alica has two sons and one daughter - Matthew, Emma, and John (and BTW supplies almost all of my phone pictures!) Need I say it - this post is photo heavy! With Easter and birthdays and projects - I really need to get back in the habit of doing this once a week - it would make it all so much easier! So, here's What's on My Phone!  Zach's school won $5000! Yes, $5000 - plus some very cool historical trees  to plant.
